Project Architect
Sedgewick + Ferweda Architects
For Brianna Fuller, architecture is about creating healthy buildings for the people who inhabit them – and the surrounding environment.
Fuller is a licensed architect at Sedgewick + Ferweda Architects and is committed to sustainable design using non-hazardous materials and efficient building systems. Born in Flint and raised in Clio, she has an understanding and respect for the local communities Sedgewick + Ferweda serve. She is passionate about designing for the community and believes all people have a right to good design. She believes society must cautiously step away from the status quo simply because it’s “good enough” and instead strive for more efficient, beautiful, and high-quality ways to design our built environment.
Through her architectural work, faith, and volunteerism, Fuller helps influence and improve the surrounding communities. She is a member of the Clio Area Historical Association and the Clio Fund Committee through the Community Foundation of Greater Flint. She serves as treasurer and community committee chair of the Flint Section of the American Institute of Architects where she is the author of the Kid Architect Program, a community-wide design competition whose winners receive scholarships to Flint Institute of Art programs and whose winning classrooms receive supplies. She is also president and president-elect of the nearly 100-year-old Clio Rotary Club, which she was instrumental in reviving.
Fuller’s favorite role is that of a devoted mother, working part time so she can focus on raising her daughter, Holland. She does this with the help of her husband and family, whose support makes all of her professional and community involvement possible.
Fuller earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture from Lawrence Technological University.
