Senior Project Manager
ROWE Professional Services
A talented engineer in her own right, Amanda Hemeyer is also committed to inspiring the next generation of engineers and helping the Flint & Genesee community.
Hemeyer began her 17-year tenure at ROWE Professional Services as an engineering intern and was promoted with progressively greater leadership duties to senior project manager and structures group leader in 2020. While working full-time, she attended the University of Michigan-Flint and earned her Master of Business Administration. She was inducted as a ROWE associate and shareholder in 2023.
Hemeyer regularly receives high praise from ROWE clients, recently earning the highest score possible on a state Department of Transportation evaluation. She works with the Genesee County Road Commission and City of Flint on many successful projects including bridge replacements and rehabilitations.
Hemeyer is heavily involved in university recruitment and hiring efforts. She is also helping to lead the company’s STEM/STEAM strategic efforts in 2024. She’s been an avid supporter of ROWE’s annual United Way campaign and has helped with other community services programs including Habitat for Humanity home builds, beautification projects in downtown Flint, and ROWE Adopt-a-Highway clean-ups.
She serves as a board member and scholarship chair for the Michigan Society of Professional Engineers-Flint Chapter, where she has helped organize fundraising, networking, and professional development events. She also volunteers as co-leader of her daughter’s Daisy Girl Scout Troop.
